The Child-Sized Knowledge Translation project teaches youth and families that they have the opportunity to actively participate as partners in research, from developing the question, to designing the study, to sharing new knowledge. Youth and families will help make research at BC Children’s Hospital and Sunny Hill more responsive, relevant and meaningful to the patients we serve.
Join Jackie as he learns about research and how everyone can get involved. Choose to watch Jackie’s adventure, or play along and help Jackie equip himself.
Follow along on the map as Jackie is guided to discover the answers to his questions.
As Jackie journeys along, youth and families who have joined research teams will talk about how and why they got involved and share their personal experiences in answer to Jackie’s questions.
If you choose to play along with Jackie, he will ask you to help him make some decisions along the way. Click on the stickers and see what happens next!
